Our Story
Our journey started exactly where you are right now - in the administrative offices of an international school.
While working together as colleagues at United International Schools Hanoi (UNIS Hanoi), we bonded over a shared, daily struggle: watching brilliant educators and dedicated staff get bogged down by disconnected operational systems. We experienced the pain firsthand. Whenever a new family enrolled or a student withdrew, the process instantly fractured. Admissions sent an email, Finance updated a spreadsheet, the Library relied on a paper checklist, and parents were left anxious and confused. The result was always the same: department silos, administrative burnout and confused families.
We quickly realized this wasn't just a local issue; it was a systemic problem across international education.
United by these shared frustrations and a common mission, we set out to build the exact solution we always wished we had. SchoolFlo was born out of a deep passion to help other schools eliminate this spreadsheet chaos. We aren't a Silicon Valley tech company guessing at what educators need - we are school operators who are dedicated to giving your administrative teams the time, transparency, and tools they deserve.

As a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA CGA) with over 35 years of experience at the senior administrative level, Len understands the financial and operational pulse of international schools better than anyone. Having served as a Director of Finance and Operations across the global public and international education sectors, he has led everything from complex budget planning to school governance. He created SchoolFlo because he saw firsthand how fragmented, manual processes drain school resources and hurt staff morale. His deep domain expertise ensures that our platform isn't just a neat tech tool, but a strategically sound operational asset that school boards, CFOs, and Heads of School can implicitly trust.
